Picture Day - October 12th

posted Oct 8, 2017, 3:40 PM by Karen Staab

Vernon Photography will be taking School Portraits on: Thursday, October 12th, 2017

Every student will be photographed. Be on the lookout for an order form / envelope coming home with your student.

The most cost effective way to order is via an order envelope on or before picture day. Simply fill out the order form, enclose your payment and return your envelope to your school on or before picture day.

For less paperwork or to pay with a credit card, please prepay online. Online prepay eliminates lost or forgotten order forms and will be available for up to 48 hours after the photos are taken. This is not a proofing site to view your photos, it is a simple online way to place an order with your credit card. There is a small convenience fee for this service.

To place your online order, please use the School Code: pas9950

Trunk or Treat Annual Event!

posted Oct 8, 2017, 2:44 PM by Karen Staab

Please join us for the Plato Academy Seminole Trunk or Treat!!

 Tuesday, October 31th
Set up time begins - 9:30 am

For everyone new to our Plato Seminole Trunk or Treat Event, participating parents/volunteers park their cars and decorate their trunks, hatchbacks, and truck beds for Halloween in the school parking lot. Participants also provide treats for all the children at Trunk or Treat. Students come dressed in costumes, and at their grade level designated time, "trunk or treat" through the parking lot. It's great fun for everyone!

Please remember you will be providing candy for approximately 425 students. Also, it is usually very warm outside and the event runs through lunch, so feel free to bring a cooler with cold drinks and snacks for yourself and any "ghoulish" helpers you bring.

**Anyone unable to attend but would like to contribute ... Candy donations will be gladly accepted at the front office!

The first group of kids trunk or treating will start at 11:00 am. We are going to open the parking lot at 9:30 am for you to start setting up. Please be ready and set up in your spot NO LATER than 10:45. For the safety of the children, we don't want cars moving around during the event. There will be someone there to direct you into an approved parking spot.

Plato Academy Lightning Game Night

posted Oct 8, 2017, 8:15 AM by Karen Staab

For this school year's 1st Semester event, Plato Academy's All Pro Dad Program is proud and excited to be hosting an evening of fun for the WHOLE family!

On Saturday, November 18th, EVERYONE in our greater Plato Academy family is invited to an awesome time watching our 2015 Eastern Conference Champions, The Tampa Bay Lightning tear up the ice as they defend against the NY Islanders. Attached is a flyer for your reference. Purchase tickets at www.tinyurl.com/hockeygame2017

The Tampa Bay Lightning have once again offered us an incredible deal for center ice and end rink seating. Tickets are only $40 each (kids under 2 years old are free). If that was not a good enough deal, each one of us gets a free game day gift PLUS our group will have an "EXCLUSIVE" pre game party inside the Arena!

Wait!!!, there is more. Special for our group the Lightning are offering a $10 for $20 deal. What that means is if you prepay $10 you will receive a $20 food/beverage voucher. You can use the voucher during the pregame party and anytime during the game. Doubling your money has never been easier. (we are limited to two voucher per each ticket purchased)

Wait!!!Wait!!!Wait!!! there is even more. A group of VERY LUCKY kids from our group will have a very amazing "fan experience". Here is is what the Lighting has put together:

  1. A group of kids will get to stand in the Lightning Tunnel and will get to High Five all the players as the enter onto they ice for pre-game warm ups.
  2. Kids will get to sit in the penalty box during pre game warm ups.
  3. Kids will get to ride the Zamboni during intermission.

We will come up with a fun way to find out which children win this special fan experience. For now be sure to list your child/children's first name in the comment box of your order. That way they have a shot at winning the experience.

This family fun night offer is being extended to all Plato Academy Campuses so act fast. We have a limited amount of seats blocked and they will be offered on a first come basis. Be sure to reserve and pay now for your family's tickets. You can do both right through this website. The payment process is easy and straight forward.

The game is Saturday, November 18th and starts at 7:00pm! Watching our Tampa Bay Lightning take on the NY Islanders will be a great time!

The pre game party starts at 5:00 pm sharp. Make sure NOT to miss this! The party will be onsite inside the Amalie Arena. We will have the Bud Light party deck all to ourselves before the game. Boasting a dramatic view of the Tampa skyline, the party deck is the ultimate pre-game destination. The party deck is conveniently located on the third floor near our group's seats which allows us to maximize the pre-game festivities. All sorts of food will be available at the pregame party for purchase as well as beverages. Be sure to sign up for the $10 for $20 deal so you can double your money and save! Again you can purchase your family's tickets at www.tinyurl.com/hockeygame2017

Once we close registration and receive the tickets from the Lightning, they will be delivered to each of the respective campuses. An adult must sign for them in order to pick them up. They can NOT be sent home with your child. You will be notified via email when the tickets are ready for pick up.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email jamessciandra@hotmail.com.

Looking for to seeing our greater Plato Academy family celebrating like only we can! See you all there!

Gratefully,
